The toll portion of the New York State Thruway ends at exit 56. Stay on the 1-90 until you see Exit 51, Route 33 West (the second exit). Get on Rt. 33. You will stay on Route 33 until you reach Exit Route 198 West. Follow the exit onto the 198. Now you will follow the 198 to the Grant St. Exit, which is the fourth exit. Once you get off the exit you will come to a traffic light, turn left on to Grant St. You will come to another traffic light where you will want to turn left into Buffalo State College. Go straight into the school lot and you will have to take a quick right. The Buffalo State Sports Arena will be directly in front of you.

From the East, New York State Thruway I-90 West
(From the Rochester Area):

Follow the I-90 to the Williamsville Toll Barrier. After paying your toll, stay to the right because you will be merging into traffic from the north. Stay on the 1-90 until you see Exit 51, Route 33 West (the first exit). Get on Rt. 33. You will stay on Route 33 until you reach Exit Route 198 West. Follow the exit onto the 198. Now you will follow the 198 to the Grant St. Exit, which is the fourth exit. Once you get off the exit you will come to a traffic light, turn left on to Grant St. You will come to another traffic light where you will want to turn left into Buffalo State College. Go straight into the school lot and you will have to take a quick right. The Buffalo State Sports Arena will be directly in front of you.

From the North
(From the Niagara Falls Area):

Get on the I-190 and go over the Grand Island bridges. After going over the second bridge follow signs for I-190 South and Buffalo. Stay on the I-190 until you reach the Route 198 East Exit 11. Follow Exit 11 onto the Rt. 198. You will be getting off at the first exit, Grant St. You will come to a traffic light. Go straight into the school lot and you will have to take a quick right. The Buffalo State Sports Arena will be directly in front of you.

Exit on 52 W (the first exit) and go up to the first traffic light which will merge you onto Walden Ave. (Route 81) heading East. Stay on Walden Ave. until you reach Transit Rd. (Route 78), which is approximately 3 miles. Turn right onto Transit Rd, heading South. Go under four train bridges and after the last one your going to turn right onto the first street. That street is Gould Ave. Take Gould Ave. until it ends and Depew Ice Rink will be on your right.

From the East, New York State Thruway I-90 West
(From the Rochester Area):

Follow the I-90 to Exit 49, the Lancaster / Transit Rd. exit. Get off thruway and go to toll. After going through the toll, you'll come to a traffic light. At this light turn right onto Transit Rd. (Route 78) heading South. Stay on Transit Rd. until you reach Gould Ave., which is approximately 3 miles. Gould Ave. will be on your right, immediately after passing under four train bridges. Take Gould Ave. until it ends and Depew Ice Rink will be on your right.

From the North
(From the Niagara Falls Area):

Follow the I-90 to Exit 52 W. Exit on 52 W (the second exit) and merge onto Walden Ave. (Route 81) heading East. Stay on Walden Ave. until you reach Transit Rd. (Route 78), which is approximately 3 miles. Turn right onto Transit Rd, heading South. Go under four train bridges and after the last one your going to turn right onto the first street. That street is Gould Ave. Take Gould Ave. until it ends and Depew Ice Rink will be on your right.

Take Rt. 90 (Thruway) to Exit 51 West (Rt. 33). Follow Rt. 33/ Kensington Expressway West toward downtown Buffalo (approx. 5 miles. Exit onto Rt. 198 West (stay to the right). You'll go under the Main Street overpass, then come to a traffic light (Parkside Ave.). Turn right on Parkside Ave. Stay on Parkside Ave. for approx. 1 mile past Delaware Park and the Buffalo Zoo. After the zoo, turn left onto Amherst St. The Nichols School is at the first cross street (Colvin) on the right.
